• RPGMM Digest Issue 4 is out.
• Josh's Out-of-Body Adventure - Seems to be going on hiatus in favor of another game.
• "Six Shooter" - FlamingMage is going to make 6 different games in 1, in addition to We The Brave.
• Let's Play (With Draygone) - Draygone has started up his RPGM Let's Play project again
• Nazi Alex Trebek - Leish has posted a progress report.
• We The Brave - FlamingMage is reconsidering not changing the battle system, after making people sad.
• Orius' Game - Orius posted several large progress reports.
• Survival 2 - MRevelle83 had hoped to have the game finished for Halloween. That didnt work out.

Horrors of Fanfiction Contest -

• It's over! If you're entering, you need to get your games in before midnight tonight (EST)! Click that link to see how. As of right now, I have one entry recieved. So if no one else enters, Red Dragon wins by default.

General -

• The Halloween Costume Party is over, and has been archived. It went really well this year, I think. There was a total of 61 costume accounts created. Stop by the aftermath topic to talk about the thing.
• Non-RPGM game creation software "Unity" is now free. Thanks to Alzar for letting us know.
• IRC wants you to vote for him in some thing.
• The blogs continue to be updated. Loki's, Grump Factory, Marcus', and Perversion's.
• The Draw Something Stupid topic is still going.
• Denmo's FFX just hit my favorite part of the game (just for one stupid animal).

I really wanted to enter a game for this contest, I even spent an hour looking through the fanfiction website trying to find one that would work well. Then I realized I had spent an hour at the fanfiction website and that was stupid, so I just forgot it.

Well, looking towards the possible future, if RPGM DS comes out, and game trading is possible, that'll be a possible contest.

I see no reason to help promote a site that may very well end up becoming a competitor to the pav and mag.

It'd be different if they were actually part of our community (to the best of my knowledge, you're the only one who has cross-posted between the pav, mag, and there). But you'll notice this update was the first time I even linked to the mag (or any non-pav site) in a community update.

Why is that?

the community updates are to let people know what's going on here, and keep the pav alive. not to send people to a site that may end up competing with us in the future.

Not that I mean any ill will towards that site! not at all. but the pav's health, it's obviously not what it used to be. so I can't chance it yet. My priority has to be this place.

Now, if only Xisthruos was on a little more often. I'm going to wind up having the third LPisode of his game up before he notices them. :P
