Is there a reason to play it when we've got Rocket League?

This kind of statement puzzles me, and it's not the first time I've seen it. They don't seem THAT similar, despite both being generally football/soccer but WITH A TWIST.

So I was playing Splatoon last night for the final splatfest and I noticed my gamepad making a squeaking noise. I think it's the vibration motors.

This kind of statement puzzles me, and it's not the first time I've seen it. They don't seem THAT similar, despite both being generally football/soccer but WITH A TWIST.

They're both straightforward soccer/goal-based games, and have similar Tim Roger's-style game design philosophies, namely a simple idea that's easy to pick up but hard to master because it focuses on brains intuitively doing calculus to master the game physics.

How so? I felt the -MAX HP% per death in DkS2 was more punishing than 3.

Or is this your first Dark Souls?

I am playing Witcher 3 and LOVING it. I don't know why it took me so long to play this. Never played a Witcher game before. It's so good.

We are now playing Rocket League and Borderlands 2.

Rocket League we almost became champions of the AI season and got essentially ****ed by our AI partner. We're in the process of getting my former roommate into the game and hopefully he'll be able to play with us soon.

We're doing marginally better at online matches. The chaos of real players is interesting because most of them are on the same skill level that we are, so you see them try ridiculous things which the AI never does. I'm learning a lot just watching other players as we're competing against them.

My aerial control has increased quite a lot and I've definitely noticed that my field awareness has gone up because I've stopped getting sideswiped or surprised by opponents when I'm going for the ball.

I honestly thought I'd be bored with the game by now, but it's just tickling my competitive nature in a way that no game has since my early days in WoW when I was competing in 2v2 Arena (and still not being good). I seriously doubt I'll progress to trying to compete on even a semi-pro level, but the drive to continue improving is still there.

I am playing Witcher 3 and LOVING it. I don't know why it took me so long to play this. Never played a Witcher game before. It's so good.

The great thing is you don't have to even bother with either of those games. I had a ****ing blast playing W3 + DLC.
