Animal Antics is the final stage in DKC2 before you fight the boss of the bonus world. It is one of the most difficult stages in the DKC trilogy. It also contains a section that can arguably be considered the hardest part of any of the three Country games. Halfway through this stage you go through the game's bramble area. Bramble levels are popular for their music and use of many barrels.

Once you transform into the animal buddy, Squawks, a huge rise in difficulty occurs. You must not touch the bramble while trying to maintain control as an unpredictable gust moves you left and right. And the enemies make things even more frustrating. When I finished this stage I was in awe and couldn't believe I actually got through it.



I'm going to be giving Demon's Souls a chance as I wasn't very impressed when I first played it.

I hate Animal Antics. Bramble and wind are the two worst things about DKC2 and here they are all mixed up like the most fowl piece of Fruit Stripe Gum.

Almost finished with Neptunia Mk2, took some effort to get the best ending.

Xenoblade Chronicles comes out friday, I'm not sure if I should jump to it, or complete Graces F first.

Almost finished with Neptunia Mk2, took some effort to get the best ending.

You really blew through that in the last week. Last I checked, we were both at the Graveyard. I still have yet to enter the Graveyard. How many more hours is it from that point on? Because I've got about 25 hours in right now.

Depends on the ending. The "True ending" has an extra chapter. I'm at 30-something hours. I plowed through the last few bosses since I grind-ed for synthesis items.

Let's step out of my lurk realm of busy for a bit.

Finally beat the first Mass Effect last week. Wow... Just wow. I think I'll play it again and again like I do with Shadowrun each year. What a great game.

I picked up Mass Effect 3 and Warriors Orochi 3 for my ice-box
tree sixty... Though, I will not play ME3 yet until I actually catch up and play 2.

Yep, Dally has yet another Koei Warriors title, har har... but I didn't expect this game to be as enjoyable as its been for me. It's crappy Battle Editor and odd new characters aside, I think its my favorite in the series. The guest appearances of Ryu Hayabusa (Ninja Gaiden) and Ayane (Dead or Alive) are just weird but I find them fun to play, particularly Ayane.

I may pick up Resident Evil: Operation Racoon City. After watching bro play it, I must say it looks right up my alley.

For the past few days, I've been playing this PSN game I downloaded a long time ago that I had not even tried yet called Astro Tripper. I've got one more area to finish, and I can add another game to my "beat" count on Backloggery. Plus one more gold and one silver trophy, after the gold and two silvers I already picked up from the game.

Got an itch to start playing Warcraft 3's original campaign, cause I forgot I had it after all these years.

Aside from that I've been dabbling in FFXII still, seeming to have forgotten how to make it play itself since the Lhusu Mines in Bhujerba are raping my face off.

And I finally dusted off my copy of Mass Effect and am running around doing a zillion sidequests in the Citadel.

I'm playing Demon's Souls and the more I think about the game the more I enjoy it. The atmosphere, the enemies, the cheap-ass deaths. I like it.

There are very, very few cheap deaths in Demon's Souls, and the few that one could argue are present in the game you are nowhere near getting to yet.

Also, Tower Knight is a pushover~
