I didn't completely overhaul my Twitter account to be Animal Crossing themed a few weeks back just to not pick up this game. Of course I'm getting it day one! I haven't been this excited about a release in ages.

EDIT: The review embargo has been lifted. 91 and all positive reviews on metacritic so far.

We got it as well, who knows if we'll keep up the membership after the free 1 week trial! I honestly haven't read anything about how it differs from past versions but both of my brothers got it so I figured I'd give it a go.

It's amazing so far! And imagine that...I got oranges on island (it only took five resets)!

I'm loving it so far too! Is it me or are there no animal voices? Mine doesn't seem to have the classic voices working.

The voices seem to be the same as I remember from the original.

Thankfully, my dad bought it today, so I'm hoping he will allow me to play it eventually. Haven't played an Animal Crossing game since Animal Crossing: Wild World on the DS Lite back in May, 2019.
