Funny thing in Star Wars that I never noticed before.

I always thought that the whole Obi-wan vs. Maul ending was a little bit lame but I never compared it to the Mustafar duel in Episode III. After watching this I thought I'd share it. I couldn't stop laughing at the "flashback".

    Enjoy.

Yet again, I must ask...why did he (Maul) just stand there during the big leap?

That was WAY more than five seconds...

Maul must have seen that Obi-Wan was still alive in Episode IV, meaning he (Maul) was destined to die in that fight. So he just stood there and took it.

It's like when Norman went to fight the giant spider in Mighty Max.

        It's Episode I. Stop questioning it's terribleness.

Damn near all of the "5 seconds" videos are over 5 seconds. But I thought it was funny. I'm guessing this was another one of Luca's intentional motifs...but as much as I liked the duel in the first episode, I never cared for the way Maul was so easily "dispatched". And I never compared the two simularities as this guy did.

Obi-Wan maybe thought about it in Episode 1: "Man I wouldn't just stand there like that, if that ever happens to me, I'm gonna cut their ass down!"

          *Episode III starts*

Obi-Wan allows himself to be cut down by Darth Vader's lightsaber in Episode IV.

I'm pretty sure that Star Wars only had episodes 4-6.

                Well, we can pretend, anyway.

                  I'd take Episodes 3-5 over 4-6

Actually, Caciss, I'd almost tend to agree with you on that.

whatever, episode 3 was a steaming pile as much as the other two

Seriously, at least Return of the Jedi has Han Solo in it.

I missed out on the whole Star Wars thing growing up so the prequels weren't this big huge travesty for me. I guess I like 4 and 6 because it's got Tattoine. Hoth was pretty cool but then you've got Dagoba and Cloud City. ****ing Cloud City. Of course it was a trap. Even Ackbar could have seen that coming. Of the prequels I guess I liked the second one best. But the best Anakin was from the first one by default. Who would have guess that Darth Vader wore black not because he was evil but because he was emo?

The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

I liked the original trilogy, I liked episode 1 and 2, but they weren't very special. But I thought episode 3 was badass.

There's redeeming qualities to Episode 2?

Even the soundtrack sucks in that one.
