They had a whirlwind marathon at the El Capitan, where people got to see all three of the Pirates movies in succession. Including At World's End.

I wanna see it. How's Chow Yun Fat? Did he use his signature kung fu?

im not quite sure why there was one early showing. arnt they only allowed to show it at midnight?

This is not like Tuesday new release DVDs and CDs....this is a major Hollywood studio. THey can release their movie whenever they want. They are trying to capitalize on (and probably try to break the record for) the Memorial Day weekend by having a "special" screening a day early....you people are gullible.

i guess you mean the chinese pirate captain. i dont remember him doing anything special, but i enjoyed the part with him. i liked the other pirate captains too, expecialy the fubuki face chick (white face).

I can't figure out if I should see it in theaters or just wait for DVD. I'm almost guaranteed to be annoyed by the audience if I go and see it in the theater. but if I wait a month it should be alright.

We had a fantastic crowd, and you're absolutely right- it made a "world" of difference.
