Played through Journey again. Still don't like it as much as Flower, but one scene in particular gets me choked up every time I've played so far.

Also futzing around with PixelJunk 4 AM.

I don't know why everyone is so amazed by Journey. I played, took roughly four hours to beat and the only thing I did was walk, walk and more walking. It felt more like a stroll through the park than a game.

I liked it, but I just don't feel all emotional about it like some of the reviewers are. Maybe I'm missing something?

Anyway, on topic: Just beat Mass Effect 2, now moving on to my Insanity mode file to get the Platinum. Then, I'm off to Platinum Mass Effect 3!

Been jumping between Mass Effect 1 and Dragon's Dogma pretty regular, depending on whether my roommate is playing Dragon's Dogma or not.

Finished Silent Hill 2. I did not expect the game to end at the Lakeview Hotel. I thought I was just halfway through the game!

I got the "Leave" ending.


Next, Silent Hill 3!


EDIT: Silent Hill 2's normal mode is ridiculously generous with ammo. I had over 100 shotgun shells at the end of the game.

Trade in some games at gamestop monday an got 4 games an what not so i'll just list.

Batman: Arkham City - As much as I dislike batman, I love this game it's so fun.

Epic Mickey - I like the concept of this game, I die alot on the platforming parts.

Kingdom Hearts: Chain Of Memories - The PS2 controls feel weird for the first hour, but it is still fun.

Haruoki: Demon Of The Fleeting Blossom - Gotta say this is a pretty good game, it's a choose your own adventure style, on chapter 2 try to raise Okita's romance meter.

Seems legit.

Anyway, decided to put Mass Effect 2/3 on the back burner and decided to finally give ICO HD a go. I never played the original on PS2, I did however beat SotC, so this is my first time.

Seems like a really great game so far, there's only one bad thing about it... It makes me want The Last Guardian even more.

Because someone bought the last copy of Silent Hill 3 at my local GameStop, I bought and JUST finished Shattered Memories.

I'm torn here.

This game had a ton of potential. The phone was fun to use, the puzzles were surprisingly good, the ending twist was crazy, and how the game changes depending on WHO YOU ARE is brilliant, imo.

The nightmare sequences are poorly done and I'm just dumbfounded about the idea of having one type of enemy in a Silent Hill game. The concept of having to avoid combat is great, but it wasn't executed well here. There's a part in the game that has you hiding in a locker as your pursuers walk by and all I thought was "Wow, they could've really had something special here."

TLDR: Above average game that could have been amazing if it was better polished.

Bought Kingdoms of Crapalur today, just starting on Hard mode and making my character... My character incidentally looks like Nathan Drake, as they have his hair-doo as a preset in the game. Introducing...

Friends roommate moved out, sold us some N64 games.

I'm playing MYSTICAL NINJA: Starring Goemon! I never finished it, because I never owned one of those dumb ****ing controller paks. It's fun jumping around and hitting things, and the backgrounds are real ugly. The robot fighting seems awesome so far, too.

My copy of Atelier Meruru arrived directly from NIS while I was out of town (including a barrel T-shirt), and the day I came back, my Atelier Meruru controller skin I imported from Japan arrived. I had previously purchased a pink PS3 controller specifically to apply the skin, so now I'm ready to play as soon as I get home from work.

Yes. The game is girly and cutesie, so it works. I needed another controller anyway. All my standard black ones are becoming more and more unresponsive as the years go on, mainly from dropping them.

I would not be caught dead using that controller. I'll stick with the basic black Dual Shocks.

I got hooked on Dwarf Fortress a few months back, so I've been playng that pretty heavily. I got Ys: The Ark of Napishtim a few weeks ago. I was expecting it to be a pretty typical JRPG, but it's more of an old-school action/adventure game with RPG elements. Not that it's a bad game, but I was mentally prepared for something else. Recently finished God of War, another pretty good game, but IMO it would have been better if it didn't pander to an adolescent mentality. Also getting back into Romancing Saga, I've only finished off two of the eight main characters in that game and I want to do some more.
