Honestly, i trust Joystik as far as i can throw them, so i take everything they say with a grain of salt, no matter who it comes from, but if this is true, well then, i'll just have to get the 360 version.

When I got it, it says "only on PC and 360" on the cover...so take that as you will.

They couldn't have planned the game would be such an insta-hit

They're making a game where you brutally murder little girls in creepy settings while being chased by a Jules Verne monster. How can it not be an instant hit when there's really nothing else out there?

At any rate, I'll probably get it when I have a PC I can run it on, or when it comes out on PS3.

And honestly, did anyone think it WAS coming to the PS3? I thought that it was supposed to be one of the killer 3. Mass Effect, Halo 3, Bioshock.

No, its been rumored as coming to the PS3 for a long time, and i was even told by someone from Irrational that a PS3 version was in the plans (back in october when i was able to speak with a rep from Irrational, i actually think it was Ken Levine), but there was nothing concrete yet. I honestly dont think that this is "final" or anything, especially since i think that they did NOT quote Ken Levine word for word.

Edit: Valk, i NEVER would have got that one if you hadnt explained it, but yeah, servers are pretty damned heavy.

My guess? Microsoft paid them off once they realized that it had become a big gun. It's one more major game to herald this holiday season. Can't you just see the promos?

I should also state that I have no problem with any company paying for exclusives. Companies are out to make money, so why should we get mad when they're trying to screw a competitor?
