Smurv kicked my ass all over the place.
I didn't even have time to turn around it seemed like, he kept knocking me in the air. Unfortunately I got a connection error on the last fight.

I'm just surprised I was able to sign on today.

Just keep playing a bunch of VS matches offline to unlock characters.

Doesn't seem like winning matters, just play a certain amount and the character will show up to fight you. You have to beat them to unlock them.

Yes but unlike Halo 3 multiplayer is only fun after you go through single player.

You mean the "story mode" because Brawl, Classic, All-Star, Boss Rush, etc. are still a blast to do single player.

SSE's much more bearable with a friend. My roommate and I blasted through it in a little less than a day.
