WTF....That is bull****. So a state is taking away a woman's right to be able to claim sex? Even if a woman enters into the act of sex, and realizes that it's going to far, if a woman says STOP you have to STOP, plain and simple. I think it's royal bull**** that they even think they can take that option away from men or women who are being raped.

I think this is a direct result of stupid, vindictive bitches who claim rape on men because they broke up or something stupid like that. It screws it up for the women who actually get raped, and then forces them to have to deal with it and years of therapy.

And example - If a woman is having sex with someone, say a boyfriend, and it's all good, but then he decides that he wants to start to choke her 'cause it gives him a thrill. She panicks, and tells him to stop. Dispite how terrified she sounds, he's enjoying it too much, and keeps going, dispite her crying. Is this rape? Apprently not.

Whoever the hell is running legeslature in Maryland and North Carolina are assholes that need to feel what it likes to be raped, so they know exactly WHAT the limits are on consent.

Laws change. There is possibly a reason why that is of course. There are some vindictive people out there that might lie about being raped. Or perhaps it's a situation where people just aren't really in full control of thier faculties ((booze)). It's difficult to actually prosecute rape because sexual activities usually occur in private settings. Then it is only a case of he said/she said, it's just not strong enough to prosecute.

All I'm saying is, even though I think the law should be changed, it also needs to be looked at from different perspectives.

It then becomes assault or attempted murder.

I personally believe that once both agree to it, you can't turn it around into rape. it just seems stupid for that to be allowed. if something goes wrong during the act, then it can become assault or whatever, but once you consent to something, you shouldnt be able to go back on it. nothing else in the world works like that.
