    Something I'm missing

I see this great webpage. People seem really energentic about the game. Though I see only 7 or 8 games for RPGM2. RPGM1 seems to have a ok amount.

I thought game sharing was huge here? One of the reasons I want to get RPGM3 is when the games start rolling in I want to play them. Then learn from them. Though it seems that more people talk about making the games then submitting them in.

Am I just missing them. I look through the site. Or is it more person to person sharing that goes on mainly? I love to play some of your guys games/demos. You guys know a TON more then me and like to see what these games can really do.

I'll pick up the game pretty soon. Though just kinda dissapointed that the place I keep reading as the top place to share your RPGM games has a very low supply of games. I know it takes a while to make some but I figured a lot of demo games would be out there.

Thank you all for your help. I'd like to know more on how it works here. I love the sharing games aspect.

Very few people completed anything on RPGM2, it's just way too hard.

yup, there are only a dozen or so finished RPG Maker 2 games that we know of, and around 25 demos. RPG Maker 2 is just too complex for a lot of people.

It's a tad early to be seeing RPGM3 games on the site.

It usually takes a couple months before people finish their games.

Oops my one of my last sentences kinda added RPGM3 in there. Naw, I was stating that I thought I'd see lots of demos from part 1 or 2. RPGM3 is still to new. I understand that..lol. Unless someone just kept going for the last week like crazy.

Though I tried 2 real quick. Yeah it was kinda too much. For some it's freedom. For a guy just trying to start slow then work way up to big stuff like mods for PC games or other things. This is good. I'm still picking up the game.

I just hope that part 3 gets more demos and games over the next years than part 2 did. When I see people passionanete about a game it gets me up there too. So hopefully we see lots of neat stuff. I'll try to make something somewhat not horrible my try.

I am sure that 3 will have more games out. Considering how many people got it, and how easy it is to make something on.

My game should be 100% complete by the end of this month if not sooner. I'm about 45% complete with it and it's run me about 7 hours so far (and that's a speed run knowing exactly what to do).

Basically, RPG Maker is old and the required transfer devices aren't exactly abundant. With RPG Maker 2...not too many people are good enough to use it, but the games that are released are the most unique(remember, quality games take time). You're also just looking at the pavilion for games, some sites have other games as well. I expect a whole bunch of RPG Maker 3 games.

And you're right, some sharing is done in a few groups. Just give it time, more games will pop up.

on rpm3 ........ i'm not sure if this is an indication, but the rpg maker mag has two games already posted and rpgm3 hasn't been out a month.
everyone who has a copy of this game just might make one. lookin' good.

That's because there were some people who had the game before it was available to retailers.

Patience. I fully intend to release my game out on the Pavilion. My file says it's 24.5% complete and the initial story is done. Well, given the fact that I have only really completed making 2 quests, I;d say that's not bad.

Y'know I think one of the reasons though is, it's difficult to find file transfer devices that can help you get stuff online form your Ps2. It used to be easy with the Dex Drive. And with RPGmaker2 being as difficult as it was to use, not many people bothered.

I'm excited to see the first batch of XP games, myself. Especially if Marcus is making anything.

                            Re: Something I'm missing

Our game is nearly completed. It's in playtest mode right now. As I find little bugs here and there I fix it. But there are a lot of things to do so its taking a bit to playtest and tweak. I think it should be out in about a week or so. But I don't have any way of getting my PS2 save to the computer. I bought one of those detachable USB little Drives but my ps2 doesn't recognize it. I have a hard drive, does that help any? like connecting the ps2 to the computer? I'm new to the file transfer stuff.

Why do people keep talking about completion %s on their files? WHERE IS THAT? WHAT OTHER NUMBERS BESIDES THE MEMORY CONSUMED ON YOUR FILE IS DISPLAYED!?
