    Contest submissions due today!

All entries for the Pavilionite Biography contest must be submitted in by the end of the day. As long as it's June 30th somewhere in the world, the submission will be accepted.

This final extension is going to delay the Pavilion Rewards prize drawing, unfortunately. It was to be held today, but whoever wins the contest won't be elligible to be part of the rewards prize drawing, so I'd need to leave a name out, as everyone else who entered a game would be included in the drawing. So that's delayed until the results are figured out.

If you are unable to submit your game by the end of the day, you can still submit it by the end of the week for inclusion in the contest. You will absolutely not be elligible to win anything, but your game will still be reviewed and officially included in the contest. I'm sorry that you won't be able to win anything, but with all the extensions this has already recieved, I can't think of any reason to give it yet another one. You also wouldnt be part of the rewards drawing for this half of the year, as you wouldnt meet the June 30th cutoff date for that. you'd go in the next one.

      Uh oh, indeed.

I'm going to work through the night and try to finish the version I have, sans the Obright, Thutmose, and Toaster activities, by the morning (since the rules give until 7:59AM EST I believe). I don't think I'll be able to do it, but I'll try. If it doesn't have major, gamebreaking bugs, I'll submit it, and add these activities back in for a "second release" this weekend.

Otherwise, I'll just finish it up, submit on Friday or something, and enter the contest anyway; prizes were low on the list of reasons I wanted to do this, anyway.

No, no, no! I must PROTEST!!

Ryner and Wavelength, I expect to see your entries in the submission forum ON TIME.

Yes, that's right!! The gloves are off!!

My lonely game has been waiting in the submissions forum for two months now, and it wants, no it desperately NEEDS a challenger(s).

Your two games are definitely able to challenge mine and win (not that I want you to win of course, but from what I read, I'm looking forward to playing both of your games).

COME ON!! You have time, plenty of time still today to finish up your games.

The rest of you who are working on your submissions still, you have time. FINISH THEM TODAY!!!

Yes, you do have until it stops being today at the international date line.

And I'm looking forward to playing yours, Pagerron--especially in light of Ivan's semi-return. The only reason I haven't played it yet, of course, is that I was busy working on my own entry.

Like I said, I enjoy a challenge and I'm going to try to submit an "abbreviated" version of my game before the deadline. There's a ton that could go wrong, though. It's the kind of thing I can't test until it's fully playable. So this is either going to be nerveracking, and possibly very rewarding in the end.

I made my own bed here... and it's a bed I won't get to sleep in tonight.

Mine is done, I just need to play test. I just need to play test REALLY BADLY, and my PS2 won't let me get through an entire match.

THEN I have to wrestle with my MAX drive disk.

I totally expect to have this in by midnight though. For whatever that's worth.

                I'll have a file submitted?

Also, I'm guessing it's okay to submit in PS3 format, and you or I can later make it a PS2 format file, right?

PS3 format is fine, I'll convert it.

                          Re: Contest submissions due today!

I've got a playable, but horribly horribly glitchy, version of Perversion & Paper complete. I consider the effort a failure, at least for now, but a proud failure, one that came from the best possible intentions.

I'll submit it in a few minutes, once I use the Max Drive software.

Everyone's free to play this game, but I reserve the right to substitute a better version for this (surrendering any shot at prizes, as per the rules in this thread) if I can do so before the "end of the week" (hey when is that?).

So, everyone's a winner. The contest gets another entry, and we will either have a game that will be skewered violently for everyone's entertainment, or a game that will please everyone once it's fixed. Hooray.

I've also sent an entry in to Valk, but I don't think it'll be public just yet. I've got more I want to do before releasing a version for everyone to see. I won't elaborate but Valk will certainly spot where it goes helter skelter if he plays to the end. I'll try to be done with a public release by the time the results are announced.

I don't want to win anything. I'll submit by the end of the week.
