Ryner's Monster Rancher Story

Fye was the greatest Monster Rancher in all the land, because he had the largest CD collection in all the land (he even had every single Pandora disc, whatever that means). He was so good at Monster Ranching that he managed to run his arch nemesis, Tower, out of business.
Today, however, would be his greatest challenge yet. It was time for the final match of the Super Grand tournament. Fye thought he had defeated his final opponent already, but it turns out there was another, tougher opponent after the final opponent, because isn’t that how it always works?
By extreme coincidence, Fye’s final opponent was his long lost father, who disappeared during a dark stormy night 12 years ago. The two shared 3-5 lines of awkward dialogue before getting down to business and acting like this was just another everyday match.
“Sgt. Pepper, I choose you!” Fye cried, to the amusement of no one, as he called forth his favorite Ranch Monster from its Ranche-ball or whatever the heck is used to transport monsters in this game.
Sgt. Pepper had a lonely heart, but who cares? He’s a monster.
Fye’s dad took one look at Sgt. Pepper and smiled. “I knew you would use Sgt. Pepper, son” he said, “you see, I know you better than you know yourself!”
“I find that hard to believe, Fye’s dad.” Fye replied.
Fye’s dad laughed as he chose his Ranch Monster, which was, naturally, the rarest and most powerful Ranch Monster in the world, “Well, we’ll just have to wait and see, won’t we? And by the way, Fye… I was the one that killed your parents!”
Fye gasped in shocked horror.
Anyway, the two had a long, exaggerated battle in front of Federal Hall. Sadly, Fye would not be victorious in the match, but he learned a valuable lesson about courage, and friendship, so in the end he was the true winner.
The End
Oh, and after the match they made a cartoon about Monster Rancher which had a really awful opening theme song.
