Personally, I think Kingdom Hearts is retarded.

Ok I'll be a bit more specific. It just feels like 1 big bad fanfic...they reference whatever movie's storyline outside their own. Plus, no Gargoyles.

Any sports game really. Theres a huge irony in staying inside and playing any sport.

Aside from that, I don't loathe any particular series. Maybe individual games, but not entire series. Thats videogame racism, or something.

I have to agree with KH. It does feel like a huge fanfiction. Although a few other Square Enix games feel that way, such as FFX-2 and FFTA.

I think the Chrono games are overrated. But I wouldn't say I loathe them. They just bore me.

I'm not the first person to say this or the last, but, all of the music based games especially Guitar Hero and Rock Band. I don't mind casual play as the game is entertaining with a crowd of people, but there are players who religiously devote hundreds of hours perfecting every single song. The very idea that you've spent months performing a poorly simulated skill that you could pick up in the same amount of time in real life and the fact that one of the packs (guitar + drum set + mic) cost as much as an actual acoustic guitar is absolutely baffling to my mind.

Harmonix at least tries to keep the game an actual game. Activision has slit the cash cow's throat and shoving every license they can get their grubby hands on down your throat.

Grandia. Other than a mildly fun battle system, this series has nothing to offer. Let's fill our game with lots and lots of anime and rpg cliches!

I think the Final Fantasy series is a bit overrated at times, although I did enjoy the PSX games.

And I'm getting sick of all these music games. Not so much that they suck, but do we really need so many Guitar Heroes?

Gran Turismo turned out to be one of the most frustrating and uninteresting gaming experiences of my life.
