Reliving the 8-bit era: The NES

Just because I was raised on the late SNES/PS1 era certainly doesn't mean I didn't play old games.

Archon-Beautiful. Beautiful. It's like an incredibly early version of Unholy War.

Zelda-Duh. I liked Link to the Past more but it was still an incredible game.

Link-Meh. It was ok, more of an rpgish platformer version of Zelda than an actual Zelda.

Gauntlet-Yes, the original one. It had the mixture of repeating levels from Pac-Man with action/adventure unlinearity of Gaunlet Legends. Mmm

And don't forget Mega Man 1-6 Damn, there was more sexism in that series than there is in developing countries. Around 56 normal bosses, and EVERY SINGLE ONE IS A MAN.

    *EDIT:* Fine 1-6

Actually, MegaMan 7 was for the SNES.

Furthermore, Startropics was awesome. Not to mention Kirby's Adventure, Punch Out!! and the mother, Super Mario Bros. and it's sequels.
