Hmm, I really don't think it's quite as bad as a lot of you are saying. I'll grant that it's not GOOD, but there's at least a slight bit of intrigue to it, which is more than I can say for some other stories I've seen posted.

          3) I TOTALLY disagree with the way that you think
Are you referring to the decidedly "pro-life" message, i.e. that it's okay to force a woman to have a child no matter what it will do to her? I totally disagree with that "pro-life" mindset as well; however, I'm not completely sure Grims was necessarily trying to send that message. I'd like to hear it from the man himself, because if it's not a major element, it can (and should) be changed.

I dont think people will decide not to play the game because it deals with pro-life concepts, its just a game, unless its subliminal through the whole game.

The fact that I wouldn't want to kill a person didnt stop me from playing FPS's, thats the same way of thinking about pro-life in games

            Just my 2 cents

              1) NO ONE will make this game except for yourself

Good point. However I'm of the belief that going to the trouble of saying 'no comment,' is a statement in and of itself.

Basically I wasn't mean enough to say exactly what you said.

The concept of the beginning and end sounds good honestly, just the whole robot thing needs to go...

Perhaps when the woman went to get an abortion the fetus had a genetic disorder thats never happened before in humans, while the fetus was being aborted, tissue from the fetus remained in the mothers body, eventually the dna from the tissue was absorbed by the womans body and the disorder was passed on to her, the abortion can be followed at any term during the pregnancy, the call is yours, since blood and DNA is not shared through the umbilical cord.

Anyways, after the fetus' DNA was absorbed by the mother, she contracted the virus, which happened to be very contagious and passed through the air, the virus kills you within 48 hours, and so on and so forth, you get where Im going, you can fine tune it from here, and it sounds a lot more believable and concievable in RPGM3

OK. I said I was in for it, but I have to give it right back to you, now. I'm not being "mean" or "nasty" or "wrong" I'm stating my opinion. Unlike you, I decided to be honest and say exactly what I felt, not try and beat around the bush with an obscure relation to the fact that although I have an opinion, I'm not going to let you know how I feel and thus make you mad because I'm the Xth person who said nothing when asked to give an actual opioion...

SECOND, with your quote, you of all people should have stepped up to the plate...

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, Wave, I'm against Pro-life, but I'm not Pro-choice. I understand that for a lot it isn't just an opion but a belief (religious, etc.) but I know that as for myself, the final decision isn't (nor will it ever) be mine due to my lack of "equipment"...

And GRIMS... I'm going to stick to my GUNS (pun intended) and tell you to make the game if you really want to. At this point, it seems like this could just be a way to tick people off and get a response, but I think that you should really do things your own way. NO, I won't play it either way, but that's no reason NOT to make something, right?

Magus has a point. If your going to reply to a post that asks for your honest opinion, why would you post a reply that doesn't really give anyone the slightest clue as to whether or not you approve or disapprove of their idea? It doesn't make any sense!

Magus, your overreacting. Maybe I should've said 'I didn't have the balls' instead of 'I wasn't mean enough,' whatever.

BUT, I agreed with you. I'm so sorry that I assumed that you, and everyone else here, was smart enough to understand that.

Whats that? Thats not enough? FINE.

Grim, your idea is poorly thought out. It is cliche ridden. I can't understand half of what you posted, and what little I did understand made no sense. No one will make your game for you, and I wouldn't play it even if I did have a max drive.

Guys, calm down--there's no reason to have a few really nice people going at each other. I mean, you barely disagree on anything--simply the style in which you expressed your dislike for Grims' story. The "I'll refuse to comment" is self-contradictory but it gets the point across anyhow. Can we move on?

I didnt assume anything(even though the comment may have only pinpointed 2-3 people, I felt I was pinpointed in the lash) and I think that comment you made overstepped the boundaries a bit and you should get that attitude you have when youre mad or irritated away from the content of your posts, itll be best for everyone.

If you are frustrated about a post choose your words carefully, otherwise youll end up offending more people then you think.

And Magus, you should try to calm down on writing a long post about what you think is wrong with someones post, if you have a problem with someones post, perhaps just PM them instead of going off topic and ranting about a comment someone made?

Not trying to be a jerk, just saying, you two are cool with me, I just dont like drama

Anyways, I still like grims idea, and ill probably be the only one that will, his story isnt logically possible, but neither are games where you can use magic, a little tweaking and it could work.

Some good advice that should be taken to heart. Sarcasm and other pointed comments can be dangerous on forums because you can't inflect, and often you'll come across in a way different than how you wanted to. I speak on forums somewhat less colorfully than I do in real life, simply because sentiments are that much harder to communicate unless you say them straight-up.

Well, you do seem to be the only one who likes it--at least among those who have posted. Personally I don't think it's bad, per se--just that there's too much wacky stuff going on, and at the same time there's not a lot of soul or spirit to it.

it needs tweaking, eh, lots of tweaking, but I believe it will be impossible to do on RM3.

I give every game a chance, this sounds like it would be better as a humorous game, no offense grims
