Today at work, I accidentally dropped my sunglasses in there. I came damn close to dropping my pager in a dorm toilet back in college.

What item (besides excrement and p!ss) have you dropped/nearly dropped in the toilet (ON ACCIDENT)?

My cell phone once fell out of my pocket towards the toilet and like it was slow-motion I grabbed it out of mid-air before it sank to it's watery grave.

My room mate dropped her favorite Zippo into the toilet as it was flushing down.

She didn't get it back.

On a related note, my mother has put my cell phone through the washer and it still works. It does, however, retain this ghostly background image that is barely visible, but looks like an old castle set against the moon. Way creepy.

I too have knocked a roll of paper into the toilet. Its such a pain in the ass to get it out too.

Jesus, don't you guys have the things that go on your wall and you hang the toilet paper on them? And they spin?

Or do you just take the whole roll and try to shove it in your rectum?

A rubber ducky. It went right down too, amazingly.

I once got a pungler head STUCK in a toilet. The wood seperated from the rubber. I tend to plug them up quite often like a fatass, and having to reach down in there with a knife and cut the plunger head so it released its excess pressure so I could pull it out was disgusting.

Toilet paper, some little plastic replicas of Street Fighter characters when I was like 6, probably some other stuff... I've almost dropped in various gameboy type things multiple times. When I was like 8-10 I dropped my Tamagotchi in a glass of milk.
