    I hope this isn't necroing, but I don't think I should make another topic...

    I just preordered the Collectors Edition from my local EB Games. It was $62. I didn't even have the option to preorder the regular because they closed the preordering for it, you can only preoder the collectors edition.

    They also said they were having a "Midnight release party" the day before it comes out at 11:00 PM. Supposidly if you come in costume you get free coupons and stuff. I'm not the kind of guy that goes to these kind of things, and I hate dressing up in costumes, but I thought it was interesting anyway.

      So should I hope that CE will be available for a while after release, or should I play it safe and pre-order it while I'm still able to?

          How many new main games in the series has Square released since the merger?

              You should go dressed normally and say that you're someone who still has faith in Square.

              Myself I'm in one of those relationships where the magic is gone but neither person want's to call it quits. Square keeps saying he'll change his ways and it'll be like it was when we first started seeing each other. Mode 7 airship cruises, just the two of us. Going all the way to Mysdia just to get me crystal jewelry. Long walks through the Kaipo desert.

              Besides it's not like Square's being abusive.

              The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

                I already know that this is going to be another XIII thing, where I enjoy and love the game deeply but I am constantly having agruments with people where I'm trying to convience people that it's good and which end with the other person declaring "it's my oppinion deal with it" and Funk will post about he hates it at every chance he gets and we're all like "we get it, Funk!"

                Can you dress up in any costume or does it have to be a Final Fantasy thing. Becuase... I'm going to be in a halloween costume anyway but I'm not dressing up like Riku.

                  I'm gonna get FF12 Collector's Edition but probably won't play it till Thanksgiving or so. OR DID I SAY THAT ALREADY BLOLBS

                    I dunno, it just kinda left me with a bad taste in my mouth. It seemed more like Generic JRPG with the Final Fantasy name slapped on it, than an actual Final Fantasy game.

                        Anyways, to keep y'all updated, I'm good to go in picking up the FFXII CE the day it comes around. Today, I reserved PSU, WoW Burning Crusade, and Final Fantasy III DS.

                          I'd maybe get the collectors edition if the demo had impressed me, but that really wasn't the case. I can't see spending an extra 10 dollars when I expect the game to suck and I'm just buying it to waste time until a better game comes out.

                            I am going to finish Devil Summoner soon so I can play Tales of the Abyss. That is a rpg I am looking forward a lot more than FF12.

                            I'll probably pick FF12 up when it goes into the pre-played section in a couple months. Probably find a couple Collector's editions there too.
