Re: Handheld Gamecube, Not Just a Dream...
These projects are pretty cool. I wish I had the technical know how to do something like that, just for the fun of it.
How could he be smart enough to put that together and not know those things? What have I learnt?

For a moment I thought I was about to read something involving the next Game Boy. Man, am I relieved to find this hulking beast instead.

Yeah, he kind of half assed that. Just sticking the whole gamecube to some plastic and a screen?"At first it just looked like a picture of a bunch of lily pads, but then I started scraping at it with my pocket knife and the whole painting just sort of spoke to me," Schmidt said. Re: Handheld Gamecube, Not Just a Dream...
Me and my site tv buddies were planning on ripping apart an old amiga and making it portable with full cd-rom and dos support as an end-of-school project. I'm proficient in repairing and soldering but something like this would take too much time than I think it's worth until I learn a little bit more thorugh experience.
One day I do plan on making a portable console on my own as a sort of side project. Maybe I'll try it during my next shore duty when I actually have the time to do it.
