Re: Twilight Princess - FALL 2006.

We really don't hate the GC, we just hate the lack of quality games. We want to play our GC....but alas there aren't anything new to get.

Re: Twilight Princess - FALL 2006.

Well this probably shouldn't count coming from me, considering that I'm not looking into games that much anymore (dang it, if I was earning $7 an hour!...), but Twighlight is the only GameCube game I'm looking forward to right now. Other than that, PS2 has FF12, and, um... You know what, forget it. I need to start paying attention to what games are coming out again.

PS: My GameCube collection is as big as my PS2 collection (which comprises mostly of Ratchet & Clank, and RPGM2 and 3).

PSS: For me at least, Zelda coming out in the fall isn't a bad thing. I'm worrying too much about other stuff coming out this spring, I can't afford to get it all at once.

at least the gc got the best shooter game i've ever played: ikaruga. speaking of which, if anybody owns that game and wants to sell it for a reasonable price, i'll buy.

anyway, the gc was a system success, just not a monumental one. capcom was a good third party company for nintendo this time around, along with namco(soul calibur II, baten kaitos, tales of symphonia). square came back with a game(bringing back good relations for both companies). smash bros., metroid prime, zelda, fire emblem got a release..

i think nintendo did well, just not on sony's level.

I already own more DS games than Gamecube games.

I own more GC games than PS2 games too, Resident Evil 4 and Zelda Wind Waker are probably my 2 favorite games of this generation, plus there are the 2 amazing Metroid Prime titles, Smash Bros, Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem, Baten Kaitos (Now this game was really overlooked.) and thats just the tip of the ice berg. I think the main fact is that many of the greatest Gamecube titles have just been overlooked.

I am really getting annoyed that people are so blind when it comes to GC games.

I would get an X-box... except that all the games that are worth getting are for PC anyhow.

                oh and on topic

                ZELDA PWNS ALL.

                You're dumb.

WHy get it on PS2 or GC when you can just get it on XBOX?

People are blind when it comes to GC?

You're nuts dude. I have about 25-30 games for the gamecube. about 5-10 of them are worth even mentioning, IF THAT.

Gotcha Force IMHO one of the best most overlooked games of all time.

...You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about, do you? Some people are on a budget, some people pay for college, some people don't throw all of their money away on videogames. I'm not going to buy a GCN game simply for "Faster Loading Times", and the GCN can't produce anything the Xbox can't handle.

While I'm at it, I should go buy four new GBAs and Final Fantasy: CC. THAT would be worth the nearly $500 it would cost to play the game. Not worth it, Nintendo has horrible marketing ideas.

You're recoiling to punches that haven't even been thrown. Grow the hell up. This is the only logical paragrah I can see running through your head as you make that statement:

"Oh my God, He's obviously bought more games for the PS2, and I've bought more GCN games--I need to show him why my purchases were superior and 'MC' is dead wrong. Negitive Points, Crafty Response, Being as immature as I possibly can be."

Jester, Jamos, Thank you for pointing out insanely dumb statements made in this topic.

You own more Nintendo games than me, whoop-de-do. It doesn't make you more intelligent, nor does it make me less intelligent for owning more PS2 games.

I am really getting annoyed that people are so blind when it comes to GC games.
I am really annoyed someone like you would personally give me bad reputation for disagreeing with you. As I said, grow the **** up.

I would get an X-box... except that all the games that are worth getting are for PC anyhow.
Hey, look at RedDragon, he's a hypocrite. Woo-hah.

It may not be dead to you RedDragon, but the system is definately the most pathetic of the three in my eyes.
Where do you not get the fact that that is an opinion? I diliberately state so in my post.

                  ZELDA PWNS ALL.
You're a fanboy, there are better games than Zelda, and there are better systems than a Nintendo. If you can't accept that, then leave me the hell alone and I will never respond or even talk to you again because I already understand exactly where you stand, and it isn't noble or charismatic or heroic to defend Nintendo when all I'm offering is my God-damned opinion.

                    Well... that went well?

                    Time to lay down, MCPerson.

Reddragon, go read a book along the lines of "agree to disagree", or at least try not to make empty, pointless comments.

I had no intention of being angry or upset, but when someone gives me negative feedback because I disagree with them--That's going to happen.

Sorry to anyone who had to put up with that.

The problem with that is Nintendo assumes you have friends, which I do.

They also assume those friends have GBAs.

                        Which again they do.

They assume that those friends will buy the 7 dollars cables and they have!

Crystal Chronicles was a fun as hell experience and I cant wait to see it on the DS.

Re: Twilight Princess - FALL 2006.

i've owned a gamecube since launch and have bought a total of 5 games for it.

                          Mario Sunshine
Animal Crossing (sold it because my love for it quickly turned into hate)
                          Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime 2 (sold it because i hated the light/dark world crap)
                          Resident Evil 4

What's that? Like one game per YEAR? Two of which I ended up hating!
                          Yeah, that's bad.

All my RPG friends went off to college out of state, so none of my friends play videogames now. That, and my main VG experience was Final Fantasy XI until Marlwolf and I decided to quit wasting time getting our Ancient Armor and just quit.

I'm more about the single player VG Experience anyway.

No worries, just don't strain yourself. Remember your head.

The GBA-to-GC dealie was one of Nintendo's connectivity experiments. Though Four Swords was a lot of fun and CC was nice, it wasn't a very good idea in the end, and they realized that the hard way, especially from a business standpoint. Like every company, Nintendo isn't perfect.

highwind: You be in need of Super Smash Bros. Meele.
