The entire demo. It just felt like a combat-centric Bayonetta style game and I was hoping that the gravity mechanic would've been explored more laterally. But hey, it's just a demo. Not sold on it though.
I totes wanna get a Vita for P4 though. Mfffffffff.
Yeah, it is just a demo, but apparently there is alot more to it than what is shown in the demo. Devs were actually inspired by Crackdown, believe it or not. Yeah, P4 on Vita sounds great, I do hope that we hear about more RPG's for the system.
What's the deal with "totes" being in the vernacular now? I'd never heard it used that way until yesterday, when I began reading this blog from someone who had never seen an episode of LOST, and watched the last season without knowing what was going on. This person used "totes" quite a few times.
So, cool kids, tell me...what's up with that word being used in that manner?
Urban Dictionary defines totes as short for totally. Checked after posting.
And yeah, I played a few minutes of the Gravity Rush demo on a Vita at Gamestop, and was kinda meh. The trailer looks really good, though, and it DOES remind me of Bayonetta in a way, including the appararent antagonist also being female.
Also, if that concept video is four years old, what hardware were they running it on? I'm guessing the Vita was not even close to being finalized, if it was even a twinkle in Sony's eye at that point.
After a bit of digging (on the Playstation Blog, natch), I discovered that it was originally being developed for the PS3. Actually, I didn't dig at all. There was an article/interview on the front page.
I thought i had actually mentioned that this was originally in development for the PS3 but i must have forgot to post that part. And again, their inspiration for the game is Crackdown; so expect your growth in the game to be based on your desire to explore the environments too.
Before it launched I was really into it, I love the hardware. I'm still intrigued but I wanna see what they bring the memory cards down to before I jump in (I'm gonna be mostly shopping digital on it)
I talked to Magus about this a while back and he warned me not to buy. I'd like to play Gravity Rush and have a nicer system to play my PSOne Classics on, but what else Vita-exclusive is there?
