Re: Unofficially Official What are you Playing

Far Cry 2, this game is pretty terrible. I wouldn't recommend it to even the most hardcore shooter fans. But since I bought it I might as well finish it.
I feel the same way in that I have to beat games I spend money on regardless of my opinion. It's why I had to force myself through FFXII and other dumb games.

Far Cry 2 was one of those I just couldn't finish. It's too damn long for being so damn repetitive. I quit at the 20% mark and never regret doing it.

      Spelunky and Thief: Deadly Shadows.

I'm determined to beat Spelunky even though it feels like an impossible task.

I don't know how I feel about Thief, but it's pretty enjoyable so far.

          Whoops.

          Vampire the Masqurade: Bloodlines.

Cripes, this game, despite all the bugs and the glitches, is still one of my favorite RPGs.

It's too bad Trokia is dead and buried. The fact that this is a non-bioware RPG that is so much into with itself that they even made whole new dialogue for 2 clans (Malkavians and Nosferatsu, specifically).

Bethesda could learn a thing or two from this game. Can you imagine Fallout 3, even a little thing like displaying emotions, would be if it had taken tips from this game.

As a rule, never release your game at the same time as a Half-Life game. You. Will. Lose.

that and stupid activision won't release the source code so SOMEONE can fix the stupid RAM vacuum that this game turned the source engine into.

Well, with the fan patches, Bloodlines is incredibly badass.

I've been spending most of my gaming time with World of Warcraft and Persona 4, and I'm also still playing a lot of FIFA 09.

I'm at what I believe is the last dungeon in P4, and I'm sort of sad because there were a lot of social links that I wish I could have completed.

I'm alternating between a few games in my backlog, I can't juggle too many without losing the thread/forgetting how to play them.

For now, I'm a little over 30% into GTA IV and alternating with Skate 2. Occasionally I'll throw in Street Fighter IV when I haven't met my frustration quota for the day. GTA IV's been taking up that slack more often than not.

I finished up Persona 3:FES The Answer and I'm glad I did it while The Journey was still fresh. I've got P4 waiting in the wings, but I knew I had to break for a while or get burned out. As it is, I'm savoring the wait.

I think after GTA IV, Valkyria Chronicles is first in line.

I have a DS game entitled Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer, which I think is what you're referring to. Unfortunately, I've yet to begin playing it, and therefore, would probably not be able to make it to the dungeon floor you died on in a timely fashion.

I have a hankering to play some console/mystery dungeon roguelikes. I liked the Izuna and Shiren games. I played Baroque for about 5 minutes and it scared me and I haven't touched it since.

I wonder if I could find a copy of Nightmare of Druaga if I just searched the closest EB games.
