Re: FFTA2
I have some questions regarding this game that I'm curious about before I run and get it.
1.) In FF Tactics for PSOne I could create my own character by choosing the sex and name. Can I do that in this one? FFTA1 wouldn't let me do that I don't think. For example, if I want a Moogle named Bob I should be able to instead of being stuck with whatever the game gives me.
2.) Can you buy weapons and armor like the previous ones? Sometimes Square removes key RPG features in some games so I'm forced to ask.
3.) What multiplayer features does it have? I'd like to own you guys.
4.) Is equipping weapons/armor and learning spells cumbersome and annoying like FFTA1?AIM: JeremyLaCroix

Re: FFTA2
Nope. You can meet new members on the road by visiting different regions at different times of the year. I haven't met one yet so I don't know if you can rename them or not.Originally posted by JLaCroix View PostI have some questions regarding this game that I'm curious about before I run and get it.

Yup. Just like in FTT and FFTA.2.) Can you buy weapons and armor like the previous ones? Sometimes Square removes key RPG features in some games so I'm forced to ask.
Yup! More cumbersome if anything!4.) Is equipping weapons/armor and learning spells cumbersome and annoying like FFTA1?

Re: FFTA2
1. So far it seems to be like FFTA. I haven't been able to purchase new recruits or anything like that, let alone find anybody to join me yet.
2. Yes...? Read my earlier post about that.
3. I wish I could tell you that it has online multiplayer, but it doesn't. It doesn't even have normal multiplayer. The only thing it has is a trade system via local area.
4. No. The game's second screen allows you to see a ton more info at once, so equipping new stuff/learning abilities is a bit easier.
And Mora, FFTA2 > FFT. I should know, I just bought FFT before I figured out FFTA2 was coming 2 days later. You can imagine my frustration when choosing between the two, but so far FFTA2 has proven the better.Last edited by Denmo; 06-26-2008, 06:53 PM....and that's why.

Re: FFTA2
Yeah, I did. For a while I was playing FFT on Kirin's PSP. I got the save file from her.Originally posted by Dreamknight View PostSo far.
You haven't even done anything in fft yet!
Well of course FFT's story is > FFTA2.
But there's so much to do in FFTA2, so much more than in FFT. I'm having a tactics-gasm right now.
...and that's why.
