No, I think for the first year Wii has a pretty good library thus far. My current favorites are Zelda, Paper Mario, Trama Center, and Wario Ware. Sonic wasn't that bad either. Wii is currently the console I'm playing the most. Last new game I bought for 360 was Gears. Though there are many interesting games for 360 I am thinking of getting, lately I just prefer the simple to play games on Wii.

Whenever I am not playing games on the Wii, I check the news and weather. But my Wi Fi has been having problems so I can no longer use the WiiConnect24 function.

I erased the Everybody Votes channel because I lost interest in it. And I was having connection problems with that channel.

I thought it was about actual political voting so I didn't bother downloading it.

Well, I did like the concept, but I was tired of my Miis getting rated every time I didn't hit the mark. It's like if you don't answer with the majority of a certain poll, you get "dumber" or something like that.

I wonder what other channels they'll think of next?

Re: Has The Wii Lost it's Luster?

I've been checking out the Wii game selection at Wal Mart a bit lately, partly hoping I'll see another system there sometime (A couple days ago I got an opportunity to try it out and I don't think the nunchuck will be as awkward as I thought it would be, unless if there are games that require I wave it around, use the thumb stick, and use both buttons).

I think we're just realizing that it's not really going to spawn any new genres, it's just a new method of control. It's the same games, we're just playing them differently.

I think quite a few people here are also simply not in Nintendo's target market (Didn't they more or less announce that they weren't going to pursue hard core gamers anymore?). They get suckered in by the novelty, then the novelty wears off and they realize that presently the Wii's game selection is largely PS2 titles and Mario games.

I think what Nintendo really needs is to net some T- and M- rated exclusives. I'm a little dissappointed that Perfect Dark went to 360. It would have been a system seller, since the original was one of the best games on the N64. Instead Rare gave Nintendo, and everyone else, aparently, the finger and made a (from what I've heard) disappointing game for 360 called "Perfect Dark Zero".

                    They're getting Manhunt 2 aren't they?

Nintendo's been getting the Resident Evils on the Gamecube.

Besides, T-M Ratings != Good Games.

Yes, I'd really like for Nintendo to churn out more mature-rated games, even though I like the Mario and Zelda an awful lot. When you think Nintendo, you think "family-oriented" stuff, but I think they can break from that image and diversify themselves with different content that isn't aimed for the young demographic.

Like one game I heard about during the Wii's first days--Disaster: Day of Crisis. That looks like a game for grown-ups.

I'd like to see the Wii at least get all the next gen RE's, even if none of them are exclusive. I'd really like to see the Wii get all the games from PS3 and X-Box. They'd dominate big time if they got serious 3rd party support, because then they go from "that system with the novelty value" to "the inexpensive alternative to the other systems".

As for T and M rated games, sure, they aren't necessarilly automatically good, but I'd like something that appeals to more mature tastes.

I'm not necessarily even saying that the Wii has NO games aimed at more mature players (They've got Scarface and the Godfather, which are definitely not E-rated games), but I'd like to see Nintendo take the creativity they put into Mario and his thousands of games and come up with more mature fare. I know Twilight Princess looks pretty dark, and there's always Metroid, but I'd like to see something new as well.
