I beg to differ. The triggers on the Xbox controller IMHO work much better than the shoulder buttons on the Dual Shock. They are perfect for racing games and FPS. And the Xbox controller just feels better in my hands, the way the Dreamcast controller did.

I was pissed off enough while reading this before I read the word "Microsoft".

The PS2 controller has good button layout, but I find the S-controller and the GameCube controller much more comfortable in my hands. The boomerang controller for the PS3 is supposed to be comfortable, too. If that's the case, it will almost be the perfect controller. The only thing to stop it from being perfect: it's freakin' boomerang!

I always liked the PS controllers and I love the gamcube controller. I hope Nintendo gives an option of having one like that for the revolution.

They are. You can actually use the Gamecube controller you have right now on the Revolution. They are backwards-compatible after all.

If this resembled a communist government, things would be a hell of a lot better!

Last I heard, Sony was losing, and they're trying to find a way to appeal.

These cases take a long time.

Some months ago, Sony paid the original guy who patented the thing a large sum of money to testify in their favor, and the judge wasn't too happy about it.

Sony is claiming they paid him for use of computer-controlled vibrating motors, since it was he who started the patent.

This lawsuit probably won't even end until the PS3 comes out, so I really doubt SONY is going to do anything to comply with the lawsuit.

They'll probably just end up ignoring it, since they can appeal the case a few times.

I'm suprised Nintendo didn't try anything with Sony. Considering they had the tech before them. Didn't they try with the rumble pack though?
