Since I do not care much for Anime, anything I suggest must be good!

I recently saw Go Nagai's DevilLady series and reviewed it in EvilNixon666's forum (first entry in the What Anime are you watching? thread).

If you can find his original DevilMan series from the '70s it is well worth it (even if it is not in English).

The last Woman I Loved was a little too in to Fist of The North Star. I liked the movie, but found the series was repetitive (and you did ask for series...).

I have no interest in most new anime due to crummy stories/characters and lackluster CG animation techniques. I would give you the same advice I give everyone else: go read some decent manga.

I support that whole-heartedly. HunterXHunter is one of my favorite mangas. Same with the Full Metal Alchemist Manga. Naruto's good too, although with so many of them out (they're at number 10, I think) the toned-down kiddie anime might be the only way to go.

I would recommend AKIRA, the first Ghost in the shell series, Domu, Parasyte, Dr. Slump and Bobobo. That's a mix of strange and serious.

Poor production values? More like really high standards.

Oh, and Getbackers, while cheezy(and edited badly in english) is pretty fun to watch. Happy Lesson, Maburaho and DUAL(?) are decent.
