Sure I can understand that complaint but it's the opposite for me. Each time I watch a Cowboy Bebop episode again, including the movie, I notice something new. That series is deeper than most give it credit for I think.

But I take most issue with the guy's word choice. Atrocious. He was just an elitist dick, had something bad to say about everything. He also insisted on the whole console war thing. Why, he was more elitist and more of a dick than even the biggest elitist dick here!

My comment wasn't a complaint it was praise.

I like Cowboy Bebop because of the characters. Faye's whole thing with her childhood. Jet's past. And Spike is probably one of the most intriguing characters in anything ever. Not the I'll-smoke-a-cigarette-while-dodging-your-kung-fu-kicks Spike, but the Julia Spike. The Spike behind the smoking Spike.

I didn't much care for Ed. She's got some depth to her but I think she's the most straight forward of the characters. She chooses her father and does it in her own special Ed way. The interesting bit is her relationship with Ein. I just wasn't that interested in her. There may be something I missed because of my lack of interest but I think she's the innocent to the other three and Ein's choice to follow her versus stay on the Bebop is a reflection of that.

Ein is the sanity and voice of reason in the insanity of the Bebop. I like his little hops in the shroom episode.

Ed is a bit strange... for the first episodes with her in it I thought she was a guy with ADHD. Ein was pretty funny in the shroom episode. And for animes I recommend: Witch Hunter Robin, Trigun, Inuyasha, Dual, Soul Taker, Naruto, Ghost in the Shell, and Crest of the Stars. I do have some wierd tastes, though.

I'd just like to add that Guu is an awesome Anime.

I watched the first season from my own computer, and Deluxe and Final at Anime Club. We're on the last episode of Final though.

So, has anyone read the Berserk manga? Seriously, it's one sick story.
There's times when you're almost disgusted at Kentaro Miura. I love it.

The Berserk series is literally the saddest series of anything I've ever watched. It's so miserably sad and tragic. And I love it.

But I've heard there's tons of issues of the Berserk manga yet to be released. I don't wanna start reading it until they're all out.
