It's only natural. People's immediate reaction to inhumanity and injustice is usually to be equally cruel but somehow convince themselves it becomes just if you inflict it on the people who did it before.

Is that wrong? You think it might go to my head? What would you have me do, consign them to the afterlife?

The point is a lesson. That's the whole point of any punishment, to scare others into line. I just want them to pay. Just watching that video....

When people just "deal with it" instead of acting on it, they are contributing to the problem. Whether that problem be animal cruelty, political corruption, or ****ty food in the lunch menu.

I didn't see the link, so I don't know how horrible it is, but I can imagine. I'm for animal rights and stuff, but not PETA.

I like to play on the safe side. Not everyone is prepared to contribute to a mass problem like stopping china from killing animals.

I can see why Valk removed the link. As I said, I couldn't stand to watch the whole thing. Doesn't matter, you can find it yourself if you have the will. What I really wanted was the discussion.

I think I've calmed down a little. I did a little more searching, and found the ALF, Animal Liberation Front, the ELF being already known to me. I enjoy reading about them, what they aim to do. It's like a beacon of hope, something to look up to.

The Southern Poverty Law Center has criticized the Department of Homeland Security for concentrating on the Animal and Earth Liberation Fronts rather than on white supremacists, writing that "for all the property damage they have wreaked, eco-radicals have killed no one — something that cannot be said of the white supremacists and others who people the American radical right." Senator James Jeffords said that the "ELF and ALF may threaten dozens of people each year, but an incident at a chemical, nuclear or wastewater facility would threaten tens of thousands."

Apparently they're the number one domestic terrorist threat.

i don't mind fur. i hate going to all the trouble of getting to know someone only to find out they're a huge asshole. fur speeds the whole process up, keeps me from wasting so much of my time
