What I was saying is that the only limit I see would be memory. Seeing as that isn't a problem, I see no reason for it to be more limited than a console. If they don't go over the top with the 3d rendered graphics, they could easily have something as customizable as RPGM2.

Re: Time to send a message to Enterbrain.

I voted PS3, though I think any Sony based system would probably be a good bet.

With the PS2 you have an established user base, plus I know most of the people interested in the series probably wouldn't care that it came out for an older system, so long as the stores are still willing to carry it, and the PS3 crowd can still enjoy it.

I favor the PS3, mostly because I have one, I'd like to see the series stay Sony-based, and I really don't want to have to buy a 360 just for one game . Plus what Valk said about Microsoft potentially having so much control over our game data is unacceptable. What if someone says something Microsoft doesn't like in a game? They may well pull the plug on the entire RPGM library, or even try to hold the Pavilion accountable. Things are going well enough trying to keep in Agetec's good graces, just imagine if Microsoft got a hand in things.

If the next one's going to be on a handheld, I'd like to see it go to PSP. Part of my biggest motivation to tinker with the system and make games is my ability to share my creations over the net. The DS doesn't give me that ability to my knowledge. Ideally, I'd like to see a port of one of the current RPGM's on PSP.

Why can't they do it on all of them? I mean, PS3 is going to win and I won't buy the PS3 only for that game!

How many of you have tried Game Maker, for PC?

they won't do multiplatform because (as I said before in this topic) then people who wanted to play other people's games would have to buy every system and a copy of the software for each system. and no one would do that. it would be a massive failure. sharing games online is a top priority for enterbrain with the RPG Maker series.

It costs A LOT to develop for every system, especially now that the systems are all so different from each other architecturally.

Than I think ps2 would be best because everyone who owns RPG Maker probably owns a system also. ps3 would be next best for the backward compatibility.

                    id say 360

it has a better american and uk community than ps3 and the 360 isnt that expensive anymore. but the downside is japan.

so my call is wii cause its cheaper to develop on and 360 cause its good in america

I know Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo wouldn't want to support their rivals in any way, but, in the impossible event that the game was released on multiple systems, wouldn't Enterbrain have control over their own media?

I am a bit ignorant on techie stuff such as this, so please don't be too harsh .

I guess should consider other people's feelings about file sharing also, not just my own.
Hmm.. I wonder if someone can plug a cell phone into there TV. That would make the game a lot easier to see.

Or even like what they did with the Game boy. Where you can put the game boy games into a SNES game adapter.

I'm sure if some one tried HARD enough, they could accomplish it. After all, technology makes ANYTHING possible. And your right, it would be easier to see on a TV.

I vote for the one console not listed - PC. Honestly, I feel making any more game console based RPGMs will only limit its ability to reach players. We all have PCs or access to PCs, otherwise you wouldn't be here for a vote. I love the insane amount of customization RPGMXP offers. I would love to see a 3D capable RPGM for the PC. The only thing I'd request is for eb! to enable people not using windows an easy access to the software by making it multiple OS compatible. As it stands, there is roughly 1 computer availabe for every two persons in the US. Making the next RPGM for anything but PC will confuse me to no end.

Because the PC is not a console, and this being a console RPG Maker site, the pavilion would not support a PC installment. even though many people here use PC RPG Makers in addition to the console RPG Makers (myself included) this site is not for them.

What he means is that the site does not host any games, tiles, ect for XP. That's just a thread discussing the game, which is fine. The other ones which were all pirated are not ok to discuss, however. This site only hosts games made with console RPG Makers.

Also, the entire point of this topic was giving feedback on which CONSOLE should get the next RPG Maker.
