    Stupid Dead Rising

    Bought it, love it, BUT DEAR GOD THE TEXT. I swear to god, I can only make out mabye 1 or 2 words out of anything I have to read. So when Im told to go do someting, or go somewhere, I dont know where the hell im supposed to go becasue I cant ****ing read it.

    Its ridiculous.

    You need an HD tv, thats why.

      Yes the text problem is pretty unexcusable. I don't think we're at a point yet where you should make a game that only works 100% on HD.

        Indeed, but I really didn't find it much of a problem when I was playing it. Just follow the guide arrows once Otis stops yapping.

          I couldn't read the text much on Phantom Dust either. Black text on a dark blue background seems like a dumb setup.

              Sounds like Capcom is actually getting tired of listening to people complain about their mistakes

              Also after a little searching theres 3 ways you can fix the font problem

              1.Get a SDTV 27" or greater

              or

              2.Try using component cables instead of standard composite

              or

              3.Setting the TV to widescreen ratio (even though you may not have a widescreen TV) may help in some cases

                I dont have a 27" TV. Its not widescreen. I dont wanna go buy component cables. Shouldnt have to. Apparently even some people with HDTVs still have trouble with the text.

                Capsom was going to do a pacth to fix the text, but instead said the patch would take alot of time, and would be far too large a file size. So instead they just gave those 3 suggestions. ****ing retarded.

                Ive also been reading that the text in the Lost Planet multiplayer demo is even worse than dead Risings text. I havent downloaded it yet, but thats just dumb.

                  I think capcom is doing more damage HD-wise to the consoles reputation then good

                      Yup. On their HD TVs. With 360s made out of gold. And on couches of the richest and darkest chocolate all that Megaman money can buy.

                        Yes the do, but they probably playtested it on a huge HDTV
