From what I read these guys rammed an undercover police car before the shooting began.

There's conflicting reports. I hear the cops say that they were rammed but the only other witness they've got says otherwise. Not much credibility either way.

Regardless it's not a reason for the cops to unload 50 rounds into the car.

Yup, multiple times if I'm correct. And they ran over a police mans foot.

While I agree that 50 shots is a bit much, I think the race card is being played a little too much here.

The race card is always played. It doesn't matter if these guys rammed a cop car, punched a police officer, and flipped off a puppy, the only story that's going to be focused on is black guys being shot by white cops.

Well, to be fair, niether of those really justified a shooting with live ammunition. Probably not even a skull cracking with the tried and true baton.
