Reliving the 16-bit era: Super Nintendo/Famicom

Nostalgia from the Genesis forum drove me to create a side-topic for remembering the SNES.

    So many beautiful RPGs

And of course you can't forget the greatest racing game of all time(even now), the original Mario Kart.

    Chrono Trigger.

Um... I actually liked Clay Fighters back in the day. Super Mario RPG, Super Mario World, Front Mission... other games.

    Good times.

The only RPG I ever played on Super Ninetendo was Mario RPG.

I never played Front Mission for the SNES, but I played FM3 for the PS and I loved it

        Was FM1 similar?

Front Mission 1 is like FM3 except a lot better, in my opinion.

Except, it was never released in America. Sadly.

            Oh dang

I'd like to pick up Chrono Trigger again. I mean, I had and beat it and all on the PS, but it just had that..different feeling playing it on the SNES.

Oh, and is FM4 any good?

              I played FM 4.

It's a bit slow for me. *is not used to strategy games*

But, it was enjoyable when I rented it.

Yeah, the SNES is pretty much the best thing.

Nothing will replicate the feeling I got guiding Terra and Celes in the dark, in my bunkbed.

I think we all know about the SNES mainstays (FFIII/VI, CT, Super Metroid, LTTP, etc, etc).

Although I never got a good ending, I enjoyed Demon's Crest.

UN Squadron was cool, but I've never seen another copy of it for sale anywhere. If anyone sees a used copy for sale at a decent price, let me know.

Actraiser captivated me when I first played it. I loved the graphics, the incredible music, and the mix of different types of gameplay.

                        UNCHARTED WATERS: NEW HORIZONS

It's amazing. I mean if it wasn't, why would I have typed it in such big letters?

Yoko Kanno did the music for it. I will say no more.

HELL YES. This actually came out for Genesis too. Holy crap, best Portuguese Prince sim ever. Also the best Turkish Merchant sim ever.
