Backstory: I work from home. Anywhere from 4-10 hours a day, usually in the evening and late night, sometimes during the day if I have other plans for the night. I'll spend all that time sitting in the same spot in front of the computer, only stopping for a bathroom break or to grab a snack. This is usually my Sunday-Friday routine. It can be rough at times, but it makes me money so I'm happy. I always take Saturday off to give myself a break, whether I just relax at home, hang out with friends, or what have you. It keeps me from getting burned out.
So why is it that every Saturday, for about the past two months now, without fail, I'm grossly fatigued and have a headache within a few hours of waking up. No matter what I'm doing, this happens to me. I'm not getting too much (or not enough) sleep, so that's not a factor. And I always feel fine on my workdays. It's just the one day I have off that for seemingly no reason I get these symptoms.
Is it possible my body is so used to my schedule it acts goofy the one day things are different? Or maybe my work schedule is taking more of a toll on me than I thought, and Saturday is just everything catching up to me at once? Is it cancer? It doesn't seem to be serious enough that I should see a doctor, but I'm almost willing to go to one for an explanation on why this happens like clockwork.
What do you think?
