I have a problem. I open the game, the screen goes to black as if it's loading then it just quits back to my desktop.

It's a gift, along with Half-Life 2: Episode One. And that works fine.
So why doesn't Battlefield 2?

There are only a select few video cards that work with Battlefield 2...you should do a search to see if yours is on it or not. My guess is, that it isnt.

Well, I have a SoundMAX audio card and for whatever reason, I guess they refuses to function with Oblivion properly. So, everything sounds like it's coming out of a speaker crushed by a Grizzly Adams.
