PS2 Memory Cards Incompatible With PS3

Looks like if you want to play your PS2 games on the PS3 with your saved games you'll need to buy an adaptor.

Exactly how much is this thing going to cost us when it's all said and done, again?

Sony never made anything really adaptable. (Multi-taps, this thing, ect.)

Well as long as it's not as buggy as the max drive, shouldn't be too bad. Though it does kind of suck to have to pay extra for it I know I won't be selling my PS2 anytime soon so I can keep playing PS2 games on that when I eventually get a PS3, after about 2 price drops. Just hopefully there won't be any Holiday Demo discs with demos on them that magically wipe your harddrive, like they do with PS2 memcards, cause that was fun.

I actually thought this was good news. Considering that up til now it seemed like you'd have no choice but to start over your games from scratch. This is at least better than that. Although it would've been leagues better for Sony to include even one PS2 memory card slot, it makes a lot more sense than SD or CF slots.

This is better than the PS2's PS solution. At the very least, you can now have PS/PS2/PS3 saves on one medium. I hated we could archive PS saves on PS2 memory cards, but not save or load from them.

Yeah. I don't really like PS2 to tell you the truth. Not many good games. But when there's a good one, it's a good one. Really good. But still.

Man, I want an XBox.... I did go to this one huge Halo 2 party through my church about a week 'n a half ago though, that was so awesome. 16 player matches. I got owned a lot though, but still fun.
