    Augh, Squenix!

I keep getting the FFXI newsletter after I quit like over a year ago.

At the bottom of this e-mail, it says "if you'd like to opt out of this newsletter, please reply to this address without changing the subject or body."

Every single time I get this newsletter, I have done just that.

I keep getting it! >.< Leave me alone! I'VE MOVED OOOOON! I could phone them and yell at them, but it costs long distance to call their customer service line. Way to go, Squenix!

    Anyone else had this problem?

Mail them a real letter via snail mail. Since hardly anyone does that anymore, they'll be shocked into submission.

If they are, it's probably going into my spammail account.

Squenix just can't fathom that someone might not be interested in their product anymore.

Isn't there a law where they have to take you offa their list if you tell them to?

I don't think there's an anti-spam law in any state other than California so they can harass you with emails until you block their domain. Most modern email servers have that option.

Well, thanks for the input, guys. I replied to it twice this time to see if they'd get the hint.

There's someone somewhere who is wondering why everyone is sending the newsletter back unchanged. He probably missed the memo.

Here's an idea. Send the e-mail address this message.

"Please remove me from your mailing list."

                    It's worth a try.

I still get the emails too, and I quit about two weeks after the game came out.

And yes, I have attempted the "remove your name from the mailing list" link. It didn't stop them.
