I dunno if this can be implemented but have somthing to automaticaly close a topic if there hasn't been a new post in a month or so. This would help from topic necromancing.

Re: Suggestion: Topic Closing
That doesn't help if the topic is worth bringing back up.
If a topic gets revived and there's no interest, it'll simply die again."What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Imagine the best friendship that could be found there."

Topic necromancing could easily be prevented if we had someone willing to call a person dumb whenever they bump an old topic.Ryner's Games

Re: Suggestion: Topic Closing
It always ends up being the same people who complain about somebody making a new topic when the original is on page 3 (or whatever) or answering questions with "use the search function," so they'd just be contradicting themselves.I want that Mulan McNugget sauce, Morty!

Re: Suggestion: Topic Closing
As I know this thread is directed at me, I apologize for my continual bringing back of old topics. Sometimes I miss them the first time around, and sometimes I just want to post how I feel on a particular topic. What I would like to know is, why is it such a terrible thing to resurrect old topics? Why is there such a stigma against doing so? Like someone mentioned above, if nobody wants to read it again, it will die anyway, so what's the big deal?

Because they've already been read before, over and over...and we're all impatient and always want something new to thrill us.Originally posted by PerversionAs I know this thread is directed at me, I apologize for my continual bringing back of old topics. And besides, digging a few pages back through months old text, reading through a topic, and then replying, seems a little ridiculous.
