If I only have a PS2 but I only have RPG Maker 1, do I use a Dex Drive for PS1 or a Max Drive for PS2? Or is it even possible to use a Dex Drive on a PS2? Sorry, I'm a newbie.

As long as you are using a PS1 memory card (which I assume you are), you need a Dex Drive. It plugs into your computer, and your memory card plugs into it. -

Yeah, just put your PS1 game in your PS2 console. Then, put your PS1 memory card in your PS2 console, and you're off playing old school games.
