Isn't this how it was last time? With regards to the new systems coming out, Nintendo, before release, was going to win because of its price. If anything, that's much more apt now because the Wii is likely slated to cost half as much as Xbox 360, and less than half of the PS3's smaller HD system.

I'm buying a Wii on price alone.

I'll likely end up having all three, but PS3's last on my list. Wii is top priority, but since 360's available now and won't get a price cut anytime soon, I'd might as well snag one.

By the way, it was recently revealed that you can make your own player caricature, which can be slapped on in-game models, like Wii Sports, and it will feature cell phone and PC compatibility.

Revolution first (I'm calling it the Revolution out of spite. Wii. Seriously, Jesus Christ.), PS3 after I'm done whoring myself out long enough to afford it.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is going to be the most expensive game I've ever bought.

Both PlayStation consoles were more expensive than the N64 and the GameCube. They won, regardless. If the PS3 only cost $400 at the most, a lot of people wouldn't be turning away from it.

Anyway, I'm going Wii60. Despite backwards-compatability issues (and has the overheating been fixed, yet?), the 360 does have my interest.
