Share your cheap and delicious meals!

Since Ive been living on a college budget, Ive come up with all kinds of cheap meals that taste really good. Im sure you all have some too.

List your ingredients, steps, cost, etc....

    POST'EM!

Teriyaki Spaghetti-I am currently eating this while I type
    Spaghetti
    Teriyaki Sauce
    Salt/Pepper
    Cheese
    Ground Cumin
    Sour Cream

All it really needs is the pasta, teriyaki sauce, cumin, and the salt and pepper. The cheese and sour cream just make it better if you have it around, or can afford it.

Just cook the pasta, then mix everything together in a big bowl.

Its all no name brand stuff, and I got the pasta and cumin from the super cheap bulk section of the store, and a big bag of mixed cheese for $5(its actually cheaper than buying big blocks of cheese of equal weight for some reason) so it all comes to around $9, and its enough to last me for a week if I eat some for lunch and dinner(not heaping protions of it, but an average meal). I used some of my roomates sourcream and teriyaki sauce, and the salt and pepper is a given. Even poor people have salt and pepper.

If I had some chicken this would be even better but its still damn good without the sour cream and cheese.

    GO MAKE SOME!

Probably because it's mixed cheese rather than a couple pounds of one cheese. Also it's probably recycled from what's left after they cut the large blocks.

      Beef and Rice.

A can of Hormel roast beef(with gravy!), heated of course.
Rice, cooked 'til it's nice and fluffy.

Throw 'em in a bowl and mix. Yumminess abound. The beef's like $3.00 a can though.

      But it's worth it!

Beef in a can. Truly mankind is superior to all other forms of life.

But without the cow there would be no beef. No beef at all. And what a sad, sad world that would be.

not a meal, but I routinely make cheesemilk. I buy cans of cheese soup, and dump the contents into a squeeze bottle, then add it to milk like you would with chocolate syrup.

                    Cheap fish tacos
-Frozen fish "tenders" (sticks taste like ass)
-small corn or flour tortillas (use two per taco, they fall apart)
                    -bag of cabbage
-sauce (half cup plain yogurt, half cup mayonaise. add cipotle tobasco sauce to spicen it up if you like spicy)

I have em every friday, they're damn delicious.

                      Today's lunch (cheap and easy)
                      sandwich:
                      two slices of bread
                      2 slices of ham
                      1 slice of cheese
                      mustard (1 tbsp)
                      Ranch Dressing (1 tbsp)
                      vegetable:
Buy a bag of baby carrots and divide it by 5 into smaller bags.
                      1 portion = 1 bag.
                      dessert:
                      1 small fruit yogurt cup

I'm a fan of spaghetti and meat sauce.

Cheap pasta + cheap tomato sauce + cooked 1/2 pound of ground sirloin = DINNER FOR DAYS.

You have no idea how many days out of the week I eat that. I LOVE spaghetti, or any other kind of pasta for that matter.
