by the time it comes out mine will probably be wedged into a lawnmower out of frustration.
The gamecube is dead. nothing worth playing is coming out. it only had one release in january (megaman x collection), I dont think it's had ANY this month.. and now we have to wait until damn near the end of the year for something worth playing on it?
My GC has been rotting since I finished RE4. My SNES and DC see more play than the GC does.
Yes, I like the gamecube, but it's a rather pathetic system when it comes to games. I only own a few. RE1 Remake, RE4, Wind Waker, Mario Kart, Megaman Network Transmission (never even played it) and Megaman Anniversary Collection.
I have the same amount of games for the Neo Geo Pocket, a system I've never even owned.
And now nintendo is screwing around with the only thing that makes a GC still worth owning. I'm sure they're only doing it to keep GC sales going until the revolution launch.
Our gamecube collection is paltry compared to most of the other systems, even with the imports. Of course, I've been dissapointed with the cube since we had to get the broadband adapter...
I would disagree, you just cant shop for good games it seems like. I didnt see Super Smash Brothers, Metroid Prime, Tales of Symphonia, Geist, Robotech: Battlecry, Super Mario Sunshine, or even Phantasy Star Online ep 3.
And that is just naming a few.
I had a GC WAYYYY before PS2 and I for one know that it is FAR from pathetic!
But we are getting off topic here.
Nintendo has a habit of saying things are coming ahead of time before they get there ducks in a row. With Revolution and Nintendo DS they are busy with making them, rather than counting the days.
On the bright side, though, the decoy system has just about seen it's end, and Nintendo's big gun which has been charging since before the GC was announced is finally ready to fire.
I actually have a fairly healthy GC library, but it still isn't anywhere near as large as my PS2 collection. GC was great, true, but PS2 was my primary system this generation due to all the support it got.
