Yep. All you have to do is preorder the upcoming Zelda game and you get the "mature" version of Wind Wacker complete with two bonus levels. So. That was fast.

I'm pretty sure EGM is just full of ****.
It's what they do.

And they do it well.
I'm dead surprised so many people fell for the "Sonic is in SSB:M" thing. It was too obvious.
Did anyone here succumb to the dealie?

Oh c'mon! The picture is one of the fakest looking photoshops ever. Link looks like a midget in it. All they did was shorten his legs. April Fools, pinky!

I just now bought a used copy of Wind Waker. I didn't want to like it for the longest time cause of the silly graphics, but I guess it's ok... I guess.
...:(
I was fooled until I read that you had to order starting the first. Then I was mad at EGM. Why do they taunt us so?

I liked All Bonds the best, it was so plausible and so tempting.

Call me old fashioned, but I think it makes more sense to pull April fool's jokes during the month of April.

The sad thing is I can just imagine how beautiful Wind Waker would look with those graphics. The oceans and the storms, my god.

well, those graphics suck. the gamecube is capable of so much better. those would barely be passable on the dreamcast.
I was more tempted by the missing dungons, but I was glad because then JLa couldn't complan about Wind Waker anymore.

That is the April issue.
That's a good April Fool's joke. Too bad the real Wind Waker was a joke. So short and uninteresting. :(

If it were real, of course it wouldn't look high-quality. Nintendo would be losing out on a lot of money if they REALLY worked on it.

Like Slowpoke said, they do it for their April issues, not the issue that will be on newsstands during April.

I think it's just some lame strategy to up sales. if you see two game magazines on the newstand, one marked march and one marked april, you probably will reach for the more up-to-date april issue. it doesn't work too well when every magazine ever does it, though.

That is awesome!
Way to go EGM!!!!!

They finally get their act together and get rid of WW's horrid graphics. I'm actually proud of them. The effects of whatever drug Myamoto was on when he made WW must be wearing off now.

I know, but they are still jumping the gun. If they actually released fake stuff in the issue that fans read during April, it wouldn't be as effective.
April fools jokes in March aren't April fools jokes. They might as well post one piece of bogus information every month, if they want to mess with people that much.

Damn. :lol I was really excited. I totally forget about april fool's every year, excepting the fact that it's my anniversary. Yeah. My bad. It seemed plausible with the fact that they were telling people that the next one was gonna look like Wind Waker for a while before the first screens came out, and then seemed even more possible with the fact that the Zelda franchise already has bonus disk fever. Oh whelp.

Which probably means that theory isn't correct.
