The EMAs are the Europeon equalvilent of the MTV Video Music Awards. This is pretty cool to watch as a nice little parlor trick was used to make it appear like the band members were actually on the stage, it wasn't just some cartoon being shown on a screen. They even did a few little fun things to add to the detail: 2-D stumbles a bit as he first walks on stage, then checks his cell phone later in the song, and Noodle tries to climb onto a stool but slips off because she's too short (I couldn't tell if it was a real stool or not).
