I tried making a transfer event and I used the door graphic but only one of the squares showed up, so does anyone know what went wrong?

Re: messed up doors
I'm not exactly sure what your problem is, but when you make doors and such, you're supposed to make one on each side. One on the outside that takes you inside, and one on the inside that takes you back out.
If that doesn't help, then you'll probably need to be more specific."What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Imagine the best friendship that could be found there."

Re: messed up doors
It only appears as one square when you're looking at the events tab in the map while creating it. In the game it appears as a full door.Ryner's Games

Re: messed up doors
yeah, in the event in the creator, it looks only like half or one section of the door, but when you actually test it, it will show up as the full door. Its just something you have to get used to. Doesnt really take long.Vita, 3DS, PSP, PS3, PC, WiiU, Wii & 360

Re: messed up doors
Inside you can also make "real" doors that open and let your party walk freely through them (Also possible in RPGM1), it seems to be underused though, most people use the teleport technique... I should have put together a guide with all my little tricks for RPGM1, maybe I'll do it for RMXP now.
