When trying to save my game last night, I got that hour glass icon that tells you to wait, only it stayed stuck that way. I couldn't close any programs and had to reset my computer. Now, when trying to load up my game, I get a message saying "failed to load system data". So, I dont suppose anybody knows some top secret trick to fix this? Or is my game gone?
Have you downloaded the most recent patch?

I was not aware there was one.
I imagine you removed the memory card while the PS2 was saving.

Sounds like it.
I sincerely hope you didn't do much during that hour.

I cant load the game at all, I'm not just missing what would have been saved last.
Yeah, it seem to me that your data's been corrupted due to the crash.
Anyone else experienced this?

Open the game folder and look inside the systems folder. That's where all the data is kept and it sounds like your "system.rxdata" is corrupted. Simply copy and paste one from a new or existing project. It might mean you have to rename your system settings (if you changed currency name, etc.) and changing the system skin or title screen again.

No luck.

Create a new project and one-by one, copy and paste the resources and data-files into the new project until you get the error. When you do, you'll know which data file is corrupted and can replace it.

Alrighty marcus. I played around with all the data files and managed to fix it up. Everything appears to be fine now, all I'm missing is the system data. Thanks for the advice.
