    Our Savior? My possible rgmaker3

Right now I'm just brainstorming ideas for games. Here's my second idea.

    The Premise:

You are Leedus, savior of the world. Through your hard work you've defeated all the evils in the world, making a lasting peace. A firm believer in doing what's right and never faltering from your morals. Living at home as a retired hero you are unexpectedly wisked away to some other realm, where you come into contact with Pallious the keeper of balance. You are instructed, or rather scolded, on the fact that you have disrupted the balance of the world. That you have plunged the world into it's spiral of death. Without any conflict, or competition the people have become content, progress altogether halts. He warns that if something does not take the place of evil that an invading army will sweep across the land and crush the life out of the inhabitants. You wonder how such balance can be restored, and the aweful truth is revealed. He states that you, the creator of such inbalance, are charged with restoring order through chaos. He states that you must become the world's great evil, for it is the only way to save the people.

Obviously you refuse to partake in such activities, but word spreads from the outskirts of the country of new terrors terrorizing the citizens. Against all your morals you set out to be what you always despised, a villain.

Alright now you'll start off doing basic crimes, which after each one begins to shake your character. Eventually your former self begins to blend in with the new you, and may eventually take you over. This will be a progression of continual degradation of your character, where he will soon begin to make sense out of what you considered sensless evil you always fought against. Eventually you'll corrupt those around you, the world will turn against you, all the while you progress on your quest to save your fellow man. Pillious instructs you that no one is to know of your quest, the people must genuinely hate you, despise you, in order for them to become self reliant. So that they will depend on themselves rather than some hero to save them.

Okay how does it sound? Gonna think of one more game idea then I'll pick from them.

That's quite an original idea. I'd definately play that game.

That's a good plan for a game. There are not many games where you play evil.

I don't know why, but I thought that a great ending might be to show that Leedus only dreamed that Pallious, the keeper of balance, gave him a mission at all. He went evil and insane at the same time. But I just can't bring myself to write anything even remotely normal, so take that with a pillar of salt.

No matter what direction you choose to take this, it has a lot of potential.

        Good luck with it.

        Peace.

        MOO!

That's a really cool idea. You could make a great game out of it. I've hard somewhat similar stories but their usually the exact opposite. Some major villain finally succeeds in defeating all the heroes in the world but when crime increases to the point that he can't control anything, he starts to take out other criminals and becomes a hero. This is the first I've seen that does the opposite and makes a hero become evil.

Wow, very intriguing and original premise. Even Ryner thinks it's at least interesting, and his standards are higher than Prince Edward's allowance. Don't fudge it, though!

The problem though is that you will have to show Leedus's struggle with himself as his good and evil parts fight each other. And that sounds like a very tricky piece of writing that, done incorrectly, could really ruin the story. So you'll have to be careful.

That's a pretty good idea Rodak. That poses a problem. I already have a character that is similar to that already in another game of mine.
