Let The Right One In (The HOLLYWOOD Version!)

Because god knows people can't be bothered to read subtitles to a movie that's still fairly recent and widely available to buy.

It feels like something big will be missing from this remake.

From the trailer, it defintally seems less bloody. And where is it being taken place in? Seems like they are at least trying to keep the same setting.

I don't think it will be as good. The actress was good in Kick Ass, but they should have at least dyed her hair. She looks too alive, if I can even say that.

Probably won't be seeing this one.

Meh. That trailer would not have made me want to see it had I not already known about it. Not saying that I necessarily want to see the remake.

Looks as if they're keeping in the Morse Code and the big finale swimming pool scene. Other than that, the trailer did not tell me a whole lot, aside from who their target audience is with the "edgy" music they used.

I can't wait for the urban remake, "Lemme In *****" starring the fat girl from Precious.

From your lips to a writer at MadTV's ears.

This movie is all kinds of creepy.
What's the point of having an emergency response system if you can't provoke the wrath of God?

I guess they do have about the same amount of viewers as the last few seasons...

We'll see. The original was not as creepy as it was resonant, and heartwrenching in a few spots. The original novel both films are based on, though, is a different story. Even though it was translated into English from the original Swedish, it's one of the most unsettling things I've ever read.

Can't wait for them to do yet another press run of this to tie it into the Hollywood remake, and the unsuspecting "vampire fan" picks it up. They'll be scared away after the first 30 pages, and they'll have not even gotten to the vampire stuff yet.

As this topic is already evidence, there are gonna be a ton of people who think this movie is great/awesome/etc, and have no idea that the real version came out 2 years ago.

What makes the first version the real version?
