Least Popular Videogame Character

1up is currently running a tournament poll, similar to the gamefaqs ones, where Cloud or Link usually win in a predictable lame fashion. With the neato exception that it's for the most hateable characters. (I know a thing or two about hating.)

I think it's kind of fun to see how all of this plays out

Quite honestly, I hope Seth from SFIV comes out on top. Because he is in my opinion the most ****ing retarded character in videogames. He ruined Street Fighter IV for me. I remember having a delightful time with the game, until I tried beating the arcade mode. I don't think I've ever been so fustrated with a videogame in my life.

The list is kind-of random. Stuff like Regal from Tales of Symphonia or Alex Mercer from prototype. I think they just threw all the characters they knew in a big hat and picked them out.

The thing I dislike about Seth is that he's just a lame copy of Gill/Urien. After all these years to come up with a more original character worthy of being a boss, he ends up being a copy.

I disapprove of Dan Hibiki being on that list. I know he's a joke from the start, but he's fun to play as.

Other than that, not really any other character I can comment about.

They went and made him a badass cyberninja so he's cool now. People are actually looking forward to a game focused on him. And this time we know it's about him ahead of time.

He was just as bad of a character in 4 as he was in 2. He was "badass" by being completely over the top unstoppable, and that's the worst kind of badass.

Plus he was somehow more emo than he was in 2 and I wouldn't have thought that was possible.
