    [WIP] Eternal Grace



    Greetings, friends...

    This is my first RMXP project that I develop with my friends.
    I want to make it original, from the visual art, music and of course the story.

    Story
    Enthrea, a suffering planet, disasters are continuing to occur because the pillars of the planet are already fragile.This fragility is caused by the greediness of its residents who are always exploiting the natural resources in Enthrea without doing any preservation.

    The people who has been chosen to save the world by the elders of the planet has established a large organization called ZEFON (ZEbadian FOrtifier Nature). ZEFON has a noble purpose to provide energy to keep the planet's pillars from the destruction with an instrument called the ZEFON reactor. This reactor was being watched by several chosen people who called ZEFON ELITIA. They were located in every continent in Enthrea. But after several years of calm, these disasters begin to occur more frequently than before and the planet was become more vulnerable.

    Millia, an agent of a planet recovery organization was given the task to gather the survivors to start a Recovery Project. Millia is always tries to find the potential people who want to follow the project, unfortunately a lot of great people in Enthrea refused to follow her.

    Finally, in her desperation, Millia was no longer looking for great people to follow the project, she's just trying to find those who voluntarily want to follow it and find some people that want to do it although they have many weaknesses. These people have unique characteristics that made Millia trust them very much. But then they have absolutely no idea for what they should do except several instructions from the Great leader of the organization that Millia even hasn't known by herself. These instructions were always sent in weird manners.

    Razh Avandrey

    Age: 20
    Gender: Male
    Race: Human
    Origin: Unknown
    Field Skill: Slash (Cut Woods/Bush)

    A mercenary who is always serious and always tries to finish his job without thinking about the risks. Many people want to hire him, and the others want to eliminate him. He has bad attitudes and has serious illness related to his memory. Razh met Millia when that girl needed some helps and then she invited Razh to join the project.

    Millia Melody

    Age: 17
    Gender: Female
    Race: Human
    Origin: Dive Village
    Field Skill: Shoot (Shoot Remote Objects)

    Millia is a special agent of a planet recovery organization that has a duty to search and make potential people join Recovery Project. She is cheerful and sociable, optimistic and always tries to solve the problems well. She's willing to recover her beloved planet by inviting people to join the project, although she doesn't have any idea how the project works.

    Renavia Amartha

    Age: 17
    Gender: Female
    Race: Half - Revan
    Origin: Amarthia Kingdom
    Field Skill: Light (Open Mystical Barriers)

    She is a kindhearted girl that always tries to help people from miseries and disasters that occur almost every time in Enthrea. But she also has a mysterious side that even her closest friends don't know. Her kindness often leads her into problems, however, she always considers every people as a kind and nice one. When Millia asked her to join the project, she confirmed it quickly, because she expected that she could help many more people.

    Sieghart Theolius

    Age: 19
    Gender: Male
    Race: Human
    Origin: Megiddo City
    Field Skill: Crack (Break Lock)

    A mysterious sweet talker man that will do anything to get what he wants. He's good at seducing beautiful women. Sieghart has a special charisma to attract the attention of many people. When he was asked to join the project by Millia, without further question he followed her because he wanted to seduce Millia whom he considered as the cutest girl.

    Philo

    Age: 12
    Gender: Male
    Race: Selza
    Origin: Selza Valley
    Field Skill: Surf (Pass Through Water)

    A Selza tribesman that very timid and have no strong convictions. He always hides at the time of his tribe was attacked by their enemies. He likes water very much. Once, Philo made a fatal mistake in his tribe that caused the whole of tribe people were perished. And the only one that survived was him. When he met Millia, he was told that there was a female Selza still surviving. This made Philo's spirit rise again and he tried to fight fear and guilt to rebuild his tribe by joining the project.

    Kara Devananda

    Age: unknown
    Gender: Female
    Race: Human
    Origin: Unknown
    Field Skill: Jump (Reach High Land)

    A girl that is very good at martial arts and assassination but on the other side she could be very rigid and weak. She loves cute things and people. At the moment she met Millia, she felt something different about this girl and then she decided to protect Millia with all her soul and strength even though sometimes she doesn't want to admit it.

    VERY impressive. Submission forum is only for submitting games to the site, so I'm going to move this to RPG Maker General.

    I see someone left a comment on your site saying your maps are terrible. That person has no idea what they're talking about.

      Welcome to the Pavilion!

      I hope you decide to stay here, join in, and keep giving us updates... because what you've posted here is great.

      The artwork is superb. The character art in particular is incredible... but I agree with Valk, the maps are quite pretty too. The overall style at play here is nice, and the features, at least in theory, sound awesome.

      The characters all sound good, but the story (while not bad) sounds a little derivative. Just make sure players won't entirely be able to predict what's coming next, and will feel the impact when things do happen.

      How far along are you with this? It's the kind of thing I'd want to download and play right away!

        Thank you very much for your attention and comments, we really burnt up to finish this game,

        We will work hard on every aspect in this game, the story, arts, musics, maps, gameplays and so on, so may be that will be not a quick and fast developing, but we are sure that this game will be finished very well.

        1. New HUD (Head Up Display)
        This is the brand new HUD for Eternal Grace, more eye catching, artistic and memorable.



        2. New Actor Sprites
        Following Millia's graphics, Razh's and Renavia's graphics has been updated thanks to kodoktua's work! Expect the better styles and moves from them!

        3. Audio Fixing
        Clea Leshlick has fixed the sound and polishing the background music. Now, the sound and music will be more enjoyable and keep you on this game.

        The debugging, testing and quality control processes have been started since August 1st, 2010. So hope we can provide it after passed the quality control soon. We need your supports.

              Whos system are you using for the hud and combat system? I swear I have seen it before someplace. Or is it your own and I am mistaken?

              Main reason I don't have XP, aside from price, (only used the demo trials) is because I didn't want to go through my own action battle system, but I didn't want to use someone elses either.

                I've been thinking about picking up XP since the price tag dropped to $29.99
                Definitely trying the demo at least!

                  If I could give some advice on the way you describe your game, your plot and character descriptions might actually give too much info in terms of the names of people, places, organizations, etc. ZEFRON, SOFRA, REPRO, these words are meaningless to us, and by including too many of them you risk your posts being convoluted and hard to follow. That kind of stuff can scare off any potential players.

                  In game you can (hopefully) introduce these foreign words to players a bit at a time so they can learn their meaning without being overwhelmed. You don't have that liberty in a forum post. When telling us about Millia and SOPRA, you could say, "Millia, an agent for a recovery organization..." instead of giving the actual name of the organization. That still gives us all the details we need without making things confusing. You can save the specifics for the game itself.

                    That minimap does look impressive.
                    (not that I know the first thing about XP's capabilities)

                    I assume the custom stuff was designed in Ruby. So that's even more impressive!

                      The core of the battle system is from XAS, from Xiderowg and Moghunter, but we do some heavy modification there.

                      HUD is fresh and original from our team.

                      Thank you. We are trying to polish the mini map more. And you're right we created many custom stuff with Ruby Game Script System (RGSS).

                              Congratulations on releasing the demo! It's especially wonderful to see XP activity around here, too.
