I've heard of Durty Nelly's but have never been there myself. I think they have concerts there sometimes by bands I don't really care for. Glad you had a good time.

It was a good game. One of the stranger endings to a hockey championship that I remember. The only guy who knew the final goal was scored was the one who scored it. Made for quite the anti-climactic ending, especially after how close and hot-blooded the whole series had become.

Yeah, in the South, no one gives two squirts about hockey. We do have a team in Georgia, of course, but most of the time everyone just forgets they are there. Which is actually something we also try to do for the Hawks and Falcons more often than not; it's tough being America's worst sports city.

apparently the Metra was absolutely destroyed today...Stanley Cup downtown, Bluesfest, and Sox vs. Cubs today (crosstown classic). Geez.

Heh...I worked today, and this guy from appliances changed the Dish satellite channel to the Stanley Cup celebration thing, and I kept switching it back to some cooking show just to p*** him off. And he DID get p***ed off. Eventually, there were customers in the department too, so we left it on the hockey thing, and the Cubs-Sox thing after that.
